To publish critical information provided by aircraft builders, for aircraft builders, concerning the Adventurer Amphibian.
What you see is what you get.
As the owner of Northwest Aero Products, and the provider of many powerplant components used in the construction of the Adventurer, I have more than a passing interest in this aircraft design. Many of the builders of this aircraft have become people I consider as friends. I would truly like to see the builders succeed in making this aircraft as great as it has the potential of being.
It has been brought to my attention by many of the builders that several concerns about the construction of the aircraft exist. I feel a responsibility to provide this space for the airing of any and all information that has been presented to me concerning this aircraft, including any problems that have surfaced and any possible solutions to those problems. I will be working with the builders, the builder's newsletter, the adventure email list server, and anyone else that's interested in putting information here.

The Full NTSB Report
on the Crash of N323VA
This document is about 72 pages long, including NTSB
photographs, excerpts from the builder manual for the kit, and
even the test flight schedule for the airplane. It is prerequisite
reading in order to understand the rest of the information presented
here. Please pay particular attention to the parts concerning
the construction and failure of the horizontal stabilizer attachment
joints.
Shocking Photos
Submitted by a Builder
After reading the full NTSB report, one wise builder took a look
at the horizontal stab attachment on his "rapid build"
Adventurer kit. After seeing the photos, I would highly recommend
that anyone that received a quick-build kit take a very close
look at the construction in this area of the aircraft.
