Supermarine Scapa
The Scapa was originally the Southampton Mk IV before it was renamed. It differed from the original Southampton: enclosed cabin, engine installation, and two fins instead of three. Fourteen production Scapas were delivered to the RAF joining the No. 202 Squadron at Malta in May 1935. Other squadrons were also equipped. Withdrawn from front-line service in 1938.

Supermarine Sea Otter
The Sea Otter was the last amphibian aircraft to be designed by Supermarine and was also the last biplane in squadron service with the FAA. The Sea Otter (all-metal basic construction with fabric covered aerofoils) used more of a refined structure than that of its predecessors. An 855-hp Bristol Mercury radial engine mounted in tractor arrangement. Two versions: reconnaissance/communications version and air/sea rescue version. Totals of 292 built (including prototypes).
